This course is forcing me to face my fears. I am enjoying the interaction with the class especially through their videos, learning about their cultures, and different viewpoints. I think the one thing that is going well is helping me to understand the value of the audience since it is them listening to my speech. When writing my speech, I center it on the audience, which is a good thing especially when because the message is for them and when I apply it later in life, I will need the same tactic to appeal to audiences' emotions, logical, or ethical side to listen to my argument and give it the attention or criticism it deserves.
